For the installation of a new 8-inch high pressure natural gas main, 3-D modeling was used to allow the various entities and the construction and design team to review the existing utility information, identify the best route, and address potential conflicts. Once the final route was chosen, the 3-D data was delivered to contractors to use in bid preparation.
